HUNDREDS of families enjoyed a fun-filled evening to celebrate Halloween.

Knutsford Pumpkin Path saw children exploring the streets in search of hidden pumpkins in shop windows.

Spooks and ghouls roamed round Wallwood.

Knutsford Beats sang and dancing entertainment was provided by SMB Dance.

Businesses donated lots of sweet treats.

Imaginative window displays at Smokehouse and Cellar and Knutsford Olde Sweet Shoppe were crowned winners in a creative competition.

Morgan Edwards and Wendy Diddams also won praise for their entries.

A Super Mario family won the over sevens fancy dress contest and a mini Jack Skellington scooped the under sevens category.

Laura Phillipson, events Manager at Knutsford Town Council, said: “Knutsford Pumpkin Path is one of the town’s favourite events.

“It was amazing to see so many families come out in support of the event.

“We loved seeing all of the wonderful costumes and fabulous displays by our local businesses.

“We hope it gave everyone a scarytale end to their Halloween.”
