BEST friends have fulfilled a lifetime ambition to pose as models.

Natalie Healey, 20, and Dali-Bee Perkins-Meadow, 21, grew up together in Knutsford.

The pair jumped at the chance to sit in front of a camera when Knutsford Photographic Society asked for volunteers.

“I was a little bit nervous but everyone was so easy to get on with, we came out of our shell.

“I really enjoyed it and would definitely do it again.

“My nanna Barbara Alcock and my parents love the pictures.”

The girls received more than 70 photographs for giving up their time and their favourite shots were printed and framed.

Knutsford Photographic Society was founded in 1949.

Photographer John Horsley, who organised the photo shoot with Nigel Wells, said: “This was a chance to give members experience of working with studio light set ups.

“We showed them how to set up their camera so that none of the ambient light in the room produces an image.

“They were able to control the lighting to get the right effect.

“Many photographers shy away from working with models because they don’t know how to direct them.

“These two girls were really good models.

“You just had to show them what you were looking for and they got the poses right.

“Everyone really enjoyed it, it was a lot of fun.

“We’re hoping to work with the girls again and help them to build up a portfolio.”
