PLANS are already well under way for this year’s Goostrey Rose Day.
Harriette Noonan, 12, has been chosen as Rose Queen along with assistants Sophie Henry, Rose Saunders, Chloe Walker and Tilder Few.
Organisers are now about to select children for the pageant.

Parents are being warned their children will miss out on taking part in the village celebration if they fail to register names before this Friday's deadline, March 22.

Christina Burgess, chairman of Goostrey Rose Festival committee, said: ”We are pleased with the response to the new online registration and there has been plenty of positive feedback which is always reassuring when you do something for the first time.
“Rose Day on June 29 may seem a long way off but we need all forms completed before we can organise the procession.
“The deadline was carefully chosen to ensure the volunteers, who allocate the characters and costumes, have the time they need before the programme goes to print next month.
“We do not want any child to be disappointed but they must be registered to take part.
“If anyone is having problems with the form, I would ask them to get in touch with one of the committee.”
