Discovering what happens during the busy lambing season appealed to visitors of all ages.
Mums, dads and children were thrilled to be able to cuddle new born lambs and find out lots of fascinating facts about them.
Jenna Scott, marketing manager at The Lambing Shed, said: “We are delighted with the turnout to our Meet The Lambs event.
“We haven’t been able to run it for the past two years due to Covid so it is lovely to be able to give people the chance to meet our latest arrivals.
“After the success of this year, we are already discussing extra dates for next year.”
The farm has a flock of more than 2,500 sheep and a herd of 250 beef cattle.
The Lambing Shed shop and kitchen is housed in the building where farmer Arnold Mitchell and son Michael reared their sheep more than 60 years ago.
The family opened the venture in 2015 to showcase their award-winning home reared beef and lamb alongside top quality Cheshire food and drink.
The Lambing Shed was named the UK’s Farm Shop Café of the Year in the 2022 Farm Retail Awards.
