AN investigation is underway after a fire broke out in a house in Alderley Edge.

Firefighters also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and a large fan to disperse smoke.
No one was in the property at the time.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The cause of the fire is under joint investigation with police crime scene investigators."
Crews from Poynton and Wilmslow were at the scene for around three and a half hours.
