A WOMAN has been fined almost £400 for refusing to give police the name of a driver suspected of committing an offence.
Denise Fraser, 59, of Hawthorn Road, Plumley, Knutsford, admitted failing to provide information about the identity of a driver on May 17 this year, Greater Manchester Magistrates Court has heard.
A police officer had requested details about the identity of the driver of a Volkwagen Take up car who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Manchester and Salford magistrates fined Fraser £392 and ordered her to pay £90 costs and £39 victim surcharge when the case was heard on December 14.
The bench took the defendant's guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
Fraser's driving licence was also endorsed with six points.
Magistrates gave the defendant until January 11 to pay the £344 court penalty.
