THE much-loved community fair is coming back.

Knutsford and District Lions are holding their annual fun-filled event at The Heath on Saturday, August 7 from 11am to 4pm.

Music, competitions and fun-filled activities including donkey rides and owls are among the many attractions.

Fees have been waived for charities and trade stalls this year but everyone must bring their own gazebo and tables.

Everyone is being encouraged to support voluntary organisations and good causes that have struggled to raised funds during the pandemic.

Event coordinator Clive Heath said: “Come along on the day and have a great time in support of local charities who have found it difficult to raise funds in these difficult times.

"The Lions are very grateful to Tatton Estate for giving permission to use the Heath and to Sheldon’s Dairy for their kind support."

Lots of charity and trade stalls are expected along with a selection of food and drink vendors.

Scouts will be hosting a giant barbecue and an ice cream van will be serving a selection of treats.

A fairground and bouncy castle will keep children entertained.

Redwing musicians will be playing all day in the food and drinks area and a brass band will perform during the afternoon.
