TRADERS new and old are looking forward to welcoming shoppers back to Knutsford Market.

Stallholders Jonty’s fruit and veg, Plastic Free Weigh, the Market Butcher and Morgan Edwards have been supporting the town, providing essential idems and trading throughout the lockdown.

Slipped Discs, Greeting Cards and Balloons of Knutsford, Style Loft Boutique, The Market Café will be joining them today along with newcomer Deliveroot.

Deliveroot specialises in house plants, exotic houseplant kits and garden accessories, seeds and bulbs alongside planters and containers.

"I am looking forward to offering something different for Knutsford and the market and meeting customers, existing and new. My products are quite different to the usual garden centre offer and I am more than happy to chat to customers about what is the best plant for them."

A new face will also welcome customers at the eco stall and weigh and save, Plastic Free Weigh.

"Customers will find all the fantastic household staples, cleaning products and eco toiletries they have come to expect but I am also adding a few more ranges. I’ve been made to feel very welcome by customers and my fellow traders and can’t wait until we can all be open properly.”

Sandra Curties, town centre and marketing Officer said: “We have been overwhelmed with the support the market has received during the past year and the increase love for shopping local.

"We are looking forward to Graham joining the team and think he will be a great addition to the market offer. We still have one stall available to rent for just over £200 per month inclusive of electricity, VAT and wi-fi so if you are interested please get in touch”.

The market will be operating in adherence to current government guidelines so social distancing and PPE will be in place.

The Market Café will only be serving takeaway food and drinks.
