Firefighters tackle hay fire in farm building in Peacock Lane, High Legh
A FIRE broke out in a fire building in High Legh.
Firefighters found a quantity of hay well alight in a barn in Peacock Lane shortly after 4.30pm this afternoon.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
They removed the hay from the building and used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.

Firefighters from Lymm and Greater Manchester were at the scene for around two hours.
