LETTER: Royal issue
THE issue of the £10m that the Sussex couple are happy to receive from the taxpayer has always been a topic for the national papers, not the local papers. Surely, when so many people in Knutsford live on little more than the £8,767.20 per year Government pension it becomes a local issue.
No matter how much we love the Royal Family it is surely nothing short of obscene and needs to be discussed across Great Britain. I would ask for your views.
