PAUL Nuttall’s letter in last week’s Knutsford Guardian, More lonely by the day, fails to recognise that a great deal has changed in the two years since the referendum.

Many more people now realise that Brexiteer promises such as vastly increased resources for the NHS if we leave the EU cannot be met.

We have all learned a great deal about how some of the Leave campaigns were conducted with an Electoral Commission investigation leading to a maximum fine being imposed and a referral made to the police.

At the same time the Cabinet is unable to reach agreement as to the way forward and the Government’s EU withdrawal Bill has suffered 15 defeats in the House of Lords.

Surely it is time to decide that when the final Brexit deal is set out we should all have a say by way of a People’s Vote.
