HURRAH for Horace Miller.
Horace is right to speak out about King Street and Princess Street which are getting congested and dangerous, with drivers parking on double yellow lines, big vans and lorries blocking our narrow streets and pavements, pedestrians are being put at risk.
Something must be done and it is time for Knutsford Town Council to get behind a campaign to pedestrianise both Top and Bottom streets.
We realise the difficulties it may cause, so more car parking needs to be created, perhaps a multi storey car park in Tatton Street and another one over the railway line at the other end of town.
Together with greater enforcement of the existing parking laws once again the people of Knutsford can enjoy their town and shopping.
