The Bog
REGARDING Ashworth Park.
I have already returned consultation comments however I would like to make further points.
I have lived in Ashworth Park for more than 40 years and this area was always known as The Bog.
Indeed it is not so long ago that some equipment, I think connected with work on the pylon situated here, was stuck in the soft ground and was towed off with difficulty.
It has been said there were once ponds here, hence the reason it was not built on.
