MARK Swinton is very aware that the War Memorial Hospital was built by public subscription – just after the First World War – 1914-18 !!

The Baronial Statue was placed in front of the Memorial Hospital in 1977 – could Mr Swinton be confusing the issue with a World War – 1973-76? – could we be enlightened. The British Red Cross spends millions on administration and on those it employs.

It is a de-facto “Big Business”.

The liquidation of acquired assets, by whatever means, appears to be a serious function of The British Red Cross, to assist revenue.

It is little wonder that many are totally disenchanted with the way some “Charities” are operating – for the benefit of who?
