PERHAPS the most surprising thing to come from the EU Referendum result is, after all the be-moaning of perils of a possible Brexit, the total lack of any plan for that eventuality from the Prime Minister and the Leave Campaign.

There was no consideration of the possible break-up of the UK and no consideration of potential unrest in Northern Ireland.

It is clear the result is a signal to Westminster that reform is needed.

Also a general election is required to restore confidence and bring what is left of the nation together.
