Subsidence concern over fracking
I WAS interested to read that licences have been granted for our area.
One can only hope that the considerations for this have taken into account the very extensive underground salt workings, old and new, in this area; some of which I believe have never been precisely mapped.
There has in the past been widespread subsidence arising from these old workings and I would suggest that further disturbance of the ground here could lead to a catastrophe!
