I JUST wanted take the time to commend the actions of Councillor Jonathan Farber and town clerk Adam Keppel-Garner.
Based on your article about a student being approached on the Moor, and as a parent of a 12-year-old who walks across it, I contacted Jonathan as I have been concerned by the lack of working lighting there I really didn't expect what happened next – action and lots of it.
From being a very concerned local resident and parent, reading your article, I have been, within an hour or two, comforted that we as a community are really being looked after.
I do realise that we are still in the hands of the highways agency, but just wanted to acknowledge the great work being done here by the community officers and council members.
