I WAS concerned to read in last week’s Guardian about Cheshire East Council’s plans to build more homes on the green belt in the borough – with the council leader highlighting Knutsford as one of those town’s that will ‘benefit’.
Where does this leave us?
Does this mean we will see more than the 500 homes that were seemingly agreed before the planning inspector decided Cheshire East’s local plan was not good enough?
If it that’s the case then Knutsford should demand answers from Cheshire East.
If more homes should be built on our green belt the town has been badly let down by those in power.
Howard Matthews, Knutsford
