I RECEIVED a fine on January 22, in respect of a visit to the cinema on December 31, with my son.

He is disabled so we used the disabled space, as previously, and displayed our blue badge. On arrival the man who sold us the cinema tickets made no mention of changed car parking arrangements even though he should have done as the programme lasted over 2.5 hours, the maximum time for free parking.

I visited the cinema on January 23 to complain, but was told that signs had been put up.

I noticed, though, that those in front of me in the queue were being told to input their car registration numbers into a tablet which was placed on the desk where the tickets were sold.

A much more upfront approach than we had received on December 31.

I feel an immense sense of injustice.
