KNUTSFORD A are closing in on the leaders in Cheshire Reserve League One.
The Reds toppled table-toppers Linotype Cheadle HN Reserves 4-3 on their own turf at the weekend.
It leaves them in fifth place, only two points adrift of the pacesetters and with at least two games in hand on each of the four sides above them.
Two goals in the second half did the trick, after turning round all square.
Charlie Seldon, Bradley Williams, Dominic Baker and Warren Thompson found the net as Knutsford made it five games without loss.
They will be aiming for a third successive victory when they host seventh-placed Rylands Reserves from Warrington on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
