Chris Trowbridge and his Egerton teammates return to action in the Cheshire League this Saturday
EGERTON return to action in the Cheshire League this Saturday, when they test themselves against high-flying Mersey Valley – a side with promotion as their objective.
Yellows are unbeaten in their past six League One matches though, winning five of them.
Steve Hardy’s side lost 2-0 in the return back in August, coincidentally the last time they lost a league fixture.
They have climbed to eighth place since, and start this weekend’s encounter seven points adrift of their guests with a game in hand.
Kick off at Mereheath Lane is 2pm.
