KNUTSFORD’S netballers registered a second win of the summer in the Warrington and District League’s top flight’s most recent round.
Centre Abi Cocksedge inspired them to a 45-42 victory against Warrington Town’s seconds, her dynamic attacking play earning her a player of the match nomination.
Table-toppers Alloy proved too strong for Knutsford’s seconds in Division One, recording a 36-19 success.
Jen Bazley was best on court.
Knutsford’s thirds concluded their Division Two campaign with a narrow 19-17 defeat against Greenbank.
It was a happier story for Knutsford’s fourths, who edged Halton thirds in Division Three.
Mel Baldwin was their star turn in a 20-18 victory.
