Vikings go fourth
KNUTSFORD Vikings finished fourth overall in the opening Peaks and Plains League gala of the season at Sale last week.
Ellen Thomas was a race-winner in the under 14s girls’ 50m freestyle, timing 32.09, as was Georgia Ban-Murray in the under 12s girls’ age group for the same stroke.
Knutsford Vikings’ under 14s girls’ 200m freestyle relay quartet of Thomas, Mollie Sullivan-Jones, Lexie McIntosh and Gemma Petty squeezed Trafford into second spot.
