NETBALL: Final day joy for Knutsford
KNUTSFORD enjoyed a final-day 26-24 victory over Ena Shaw in the Warrington and District Winter League’s top flight.
Meanwhile the fourth team, already crowned Division Three champions, signed off their title-winning season with a 29-5 success against Ena Shaw fourths This means they will be promoted to Division Two for next season.
The fifth team, with only six players, suffered a 6-30 defeat to Capricorn’s third team.
