TEENAGE attacker Joe Woolley, on target 10 times for champions Knutsford this season, has been included in the Cheshire League’s squad for their next match.

He joins goalkeeper Mark Higgs and defender Steve Jenyons in a 16-man group named by manager Steve Lloyd for the first leg of a North West Inter-League Cup semi final against Liverpool County Premier League.

They had been due to meet in Merseyside last week, only for the clash to be called off when the floodlights failed at Litherland Sports Park.

Cheshire League, the competition’s holders, will now host their counterparts at Crewe’s Cumberland Arena next Wednesday, kick off 7.30pm
