KNUTSFORD played out a thrilling draw during the latest round of matches in the Warrington and District League’s top tier.
They trailed opponents Alloy 11-9 at the end of the opening quarter of their Premier Division encounter on Wednesday, only for their more experienced hosts to lead by six goals by the start of the second period.
Knutsford rallied though, earning a share of the spoils following a 20-20 draw that likely preserves their place at the league’s highest level for another season.
They are without a match tonight, Wednesday.
Knutsford fourths lost narrowly, by two goals, against promotion-chasing Hallbridge in Division Three.
In the same section, Knutsford fifths kept alive their hopes of going up this season following a 21-19 victory against Black Magic.
