League proposes an earlier start

KNUTSFORD clubs will be asked for their verdict on a proposal to start matches earlier when the Cheshire League holds its annual meeting tomorrow, Thursday.
The competition, which will be sponsored by Stockport-based tax experts The TACS Partnership from next term, plans to ask too whether there should be a restriction on the number of overs an individual player can bowl in a league game.
Members should gather at Holmes Chapel Cricket Club from 8pm.
