KNUTSFORD’S representatives in the Altrincham and District Amateur League endured a weekend to forget, both conceding five goals on Saturday.
Substitute Dean Hou netted a consolation in Knutsford A’s 5-1 home defeat against Division One title hopefuls Broadheath Central, while Egerton succumbed at Sale Moor.
It leaves Brian Deeley’s men sat comfortably in mid-table, while their neighbours from nearby Mereheath Lane are second from bottom.
They turn their attention to the League Challenge Trophy this weekend, when Knutsford A host Sale United while Sale Town are Egerton’s guests, from 1.30pm.
