Knutsford Photographic Society by Trevor Hosking
Knutsford Photographic Society held its AGM recently at the end of its 2014-15 season. A successful year was reported with a good blend of external speakers, members’ evenings and competitions. The presentation of trophies for competition winners took place.
Annual digital image competition winners: Roger Hume; Rosie Bradley; Carol Sparkes; Sue Heath; Mervyn Harrison; Gordon Spruce.
Annual print competition winners: Bill McCaig; John Patterson; Trevor Hosking; Tim Banks; Rosie Bradley; David Gillan.
The President’s Award went to Walter Jones for ten years of excellent service as Treasurer.
The results of the monthly competitions were aggregated and the prestigious awards of Photographers of the Year went to Mervyn Harrison, digital and John Patterson, prints.
The Society will be presenting its annual exhibition of prints in Knutsford Library in August.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, September 1 at Brook Street Chapel, visitors and new members will be very welcome. For further information, see www.knutsfordps.org.uk.
