2014 was a particularly good year for Lower Peover WI. They participated in a wide variety of activities, enjoyed many outings and listened to some interesting speakers.
The first meeting of 2015 seems to suggest they will continue in the same positive manner. There was no guest speaker to enable them to catch up with friends; vote on forthcoming resolutions and plan involvement in WI activities for the year.
Members brought in previously treasured possessions or unwanted gifts that were bought by others who gave them a new home. There was a quiz to recognise different leaves, luckily with clues for the less enlightened.
Meetings are on the first Wednesday evening of the month in the school hall in Lower Peover. Guests and new members are always welcome.
