AN AMATEUR photographer captured these two stags fighting in Tatton Park.
Gwyndaf Roberts, a member of Knutsford Photographic Society, said the confrontation lasted about 10 minutes.
“While running to get to a good position to photograph the fight, I could hear the crash of antlers going on,” he said.

Mr Roberts had searched Tatton Park for about an hour before he found the fight.
One stag was injured near its eye and mouth.
However, it still managed to turn the other stag sideways and chase it away.
“They both returned to their own groups, pausing to bellow loudly as they retreated,” said Mr Roberts.
