A CUTTING edge company is celebrating after inspiring companies to innovate, grow and attract new customers all over the world.

Award-winning Think Beyond is thrilled to have achieved so much success in such a short time.

Husband and wife Merce and Steven Cozens only set up their unique boutique management consultancy at Parkgate Industrial Estate in Knutsford five years ago.

The couple have been married for 16 years and met at Salford University where they ‘fell in love at first sight’.

Barcelona-born Merce, 44, a chartered marketer, and Steven, 42, a chartered accountant, both have more than 20 years’ experience in their specialist fields.

Merce said: “We are so opposite in character, we compliment each other on a personal and professional level.

“We are so excited as less than 50 per cent of companies make it to five years.

“Despite all the economic downturns and challenges everywhere, we’re still here.”

The couple offer businesses frank, independent analysis to help solve problems and embrace new challenges to expand and flourish.

The pair are not afraid to speak their mind to companies who often don’t have the time or confidence to make changes and investments.

Steve said: “There are so many people out there who are all busy and overwhelmed.

“They can’t see the wood for the trees after so many years.

“We offer a fresh perspective.

“When we come in with customers, we focus 100 per cent on them.

“We’re not wrapped up in meetings, admin, training, management, production and systems.

“Because we don’t work for the company, we can say things that an employee might be too nervous to say.”

The couple have motivated many companies to export overseas for the first time.

Together, they develop bespoke packages tailor made for each client and work with businesses across the UK and Europe.

Merce said: “We have helped businesses to tap into the international market.

“Many companies are open minded. They want help and support.

“It’s about building up trust. We believe in honesty and integrity.

“We are passionate about what we do and do our best every time.”

Steve said: “We have introduced a new service about cultural codes to guide companies who want to expand to a new country.

“We help them to adapt their approach and style of communication.

“If you don’t understand the culture, a deal could be lost at the first meeting.

“We treat it seriously. A lot of thought and research is needed about how to greet people and present your products in the best light.”

The pair pride themselves in offering research, planning, and change to help firms develop new methods and ideas.

Think Beyond won the Cheshire High Sheriff’s Award for Enterprise last year.

The business was nominated in the category for digital innovation and awarded for the most innovative use of technology for business transformation.

Merce said: “We enjoy working with different people and different sectors.

“We listen and provide focus.

“We bring an outside view, an external perspective.

“We support businesses to deliver their targets.

“We want to give something back to the community.”
