PLANS are in full swing for Goostrey Open Gardens 2023.

Last year, enthusiastic gardeners raised more than £10,000 after more than 600 tickets were sold.

This year’s event on Sunday, June 11 from 11am to 5pm will be in aid of East Cheshire Hospice.

Of the 15 gardens welcoming visitors, 13 will be new.

The gardens range in size, setting and style from sweeping lawns to colourful courtyards and everything in between.

Many gardeners are hosting their own mini events, demonstrations and refreshments, also for charity A plant sale which raised £1,000 last year, will be held again.

Refreshments will be available in many of the gardens.

Early bird tickets priced £10 will be available from April until May 21, when admission will rise to £12. Accompanied children are free.

Tickets are available from The Trading Post on Booth Bed Lane and Goostrey Mini Market on Main Road.
