Husband and wife Merce and Steven Cozens set up their unique boutique management consultancy in Knutsford four years ago.

The couple have been married for 15 years and met at Salford University where they ‘fell in love at first sight’.
Barcelona-born Merce, 43, a chartered marketer, and Steven, 41, a chartered accountant, both have more than 20 years’ experience in their specialist fields.
“We complement each other on a personal and professional level, “ said Merce.
“Steven looks more inwards and I look more outwards, you need both perspectives if you wish to grow.”
Steven said: “The customer gets two points of view, we are completely independent.
“We have high credibility with two different careers. We see it as a huge advantage not a challenge.”
Together, they develop bespoke packages tailor made for each client and work with businesses across the UK and Europe.
“We make life easier for our customers, particularly for management teams,” said Merce.
“We help them grow, reduce costs and support change to improve and develop their business.”
The pair helped one business to achieve phenomenal growth, increasing their annual revenue from £32 million to an incredible £100 million!
Steven said: “They were speechless, they were so happy with it.
“Merce spent time getting to know them, building up trust.
“She was able to bring all their strengths together across the organisation and get everything co-ordinated.
“The didn’t realise the scale of what they could from their existing customers and all the possible things they could sell to them.”
The couple work with a small team of neuroscience experts who apply their expertise to business, researchers and data providers.
Steven said: “What we offer is very niche. It enables us to punch well above our weight for a tiny little business in Knutsford.
“Trust, integrity and ethics are very important. We get a buzz seeing that we have really helped.”
Merce said: “The reward I get from seeing customers growing, solving problems and supporting them in their journey is very exciting.”
Think Beyond won The Cheshire High Sheriff’s Award for Enterprise this year.
The business was nominated in the category for digital innovation and awarded for the most innovative use of technology for business transformation.
They have just been named as a finalist in the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce Annual Recognition Awards 2022.
The business has again won acclaim in the digital innovation category.
Merce said: “We are honoured that not only are our customers delighted to work with us but we are also being recognised by the High Sheriff and the Chamber of Commerce.
“We enjoy what we do so the aim for us to continue to find innovative ways to solve the needs of business leaders.
“As a micro business, we are agile, dynamic and full of ideas.”
