THE Dynamos are celebrating lighting up the under 15s summer season in the Premier League at Stockport Ball Hall.

Knutsford Junior Netball Club’s under 16s Dynamos side have done particularly well to win the title, as their coach left the club in February and they have had to continue at Ball Hall without a coach as there is a national shortage.

The Dynamos, who have been playing together for five years and have become best friends, won the league by six points.

Away from the court, they meet socially and also for fitness training.

Team managers Kath Woolf and Carolyne Brindle say that the girls have worked incredibly hard to maintain their position at Ball Hall.

“They were one of the first teams to return to the hall after the Covid match ban and have continued to play every week since then,” they said.

“They came second scoring silver medals in a recent PGL tournament against some very competitive teams in Cheshire.

“There is a bond that comes from playing together for years which they have and can read each other well on court. Super proud of these girls.”
