A DRIVER was forced to escape their convertible car after it caught fire this morning.
Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle fire in Kell Green Lane, Marthall, at around 10.41am.
On arrival, the crew from Knutsford found the blue Peugeot 207 well alight and set about extinguishing the blaze.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the driver had managed to escape the vehicle safely.
