Ryanair has announced its 2022 summer schedule with two new destinations flying from Manchester airport.

Holiday goers can fly to Vienna and Menorca from Manchester as part of the new scheme.

The airline has announced 24 new routes from airports across the UK in the summer of 2022 and is celebrating the news with a flight sale.

Slights to sunny hotspots such as Maderia and Zadar are available from £29.99 if booked before midnight on Thursday November 25 and travellers can book to fly until October 2022.

In October, Ryanair announced two new weekly flights from Manchester to Lviv in Ukraine.

The new summer schedule will be the most sustainable and environmentally friendly the airline has offered to date, with 16 percent less fuel and 4 percent more seats on its B737-8200 aircraft.

Air fares at Ryanair are set to increase by next summer due to reduced capacity on planes, according to Ryanair’s Director of Commercial, Jason McGuinness.

McGuiness said: “We are pleased to announce our UK S’22 schedule offering our customers even more amazing European destinations.

"Following two summers of on and off again travel restrictions, our UK customers now have 24 new routes to choose from when booking their long-awaited S’22 holidays.

"Whether planning a relaxing family getaway to the picturesque surroundings of Chania, an adventurous trip to the mountain hike trails of Madeira or a romantic city break to Milan, our S’22 schedule will not disappoint."
