TOMMY Fleetwood will need to do better to keep his Olympic medal hopes alive in the coming days.
The Holmes Chapel ace's first round score of 70 at the Kasumigaseki Country Club, which concluded this morning, leaves him tied 31st seven strokes off the pace set by Austrian Sepp Straka at eight under par.
Fleetwood's Great Britain teammate Paul Casey is tied eighth on -4.
