AMELIA Statham was the star of a sell-out show at Knutsford Academy.
The year 10 student played Mary Poppins in the summer production by students at the school, which played out to packed audiences.
The famous musical was staged over four nights, with tickets having sold out a week beforehand.
The show boasted a cast of more than 60 students aged 11 to 15, with Amelia starring in the lead role of Mary Poppins.
Martha Flynn in year 7 made her Bexton Road debut as Jane and year 8 student Kyle Baron played Michael.
Amelia said: “I have loved playing Mary Poppins. It is such an iconic role and I have really enjoyed bringing it to life.”
The school’s head of performing arts Helen Mayne said: “What a wonderful week we have had with such a fabulous group of young people.
“Mary Poppins is a great family favourite and we have loved sharing this super stage version of it with each of our full house audiences.
“Thanks to everyone who supported us in any way - we are now turning our attention to planning for the winter show, Legally Blonde.”
