KNUTSFORD residents bored with Christmas TV are encouraged to instead help shape their town, with the deadline for completing the Neighbourhood Plan survey extended to December 31.

The delivery of the surveys to households was beset with issues caused by the distribution company, resulting in some households not receiving a copy of the survey.

Residents who have not received a survey can access it online at knutsfordnp.org.uk or visit the town council offices to collect a pack.

“We are frustrated that the distribution of the survey has been delayed and that some homes have not received them and have extended the deadline to give everyone the chance to have their say” said town clerk, Adam Keppel-Green.

“For those who missed the opportunity to attend one of our exhibition sessions and would like more support with the survey I would welcome you to book a 10-minute appointment to go through this.”

All the information on the emerging policies consultation is available at the website along with a link to complete the survey online. Residents completing the survey are in with a chance to win one of 10 £75 cash prizes.

Children up to age 16 are also encouraged to complete their entry to the competition delivered through schools.
