KNUTSFORD and District Lions will again be providing a free Christmas Day lunch at the Stanley Centre this year, for those who would otherwise be on their own for the festive season.
The lunch, for 30 or more people, features a traditional Christmas meal with all the trimmings, visits from Father Christmas and the town mayor, and carol singing.
Collections can be arranged from 11.30am, with return by 2.30pm.
If you would like to attend or know of someone who would, please call 01565 633346 as soon as possible.
To fund this and other events the Lions rely on donations. Cheques payable to ‘Knutsford Lions Charity Account’, or cash including unwanted foreign or out-of-date currency, can be delivered in a sealed envelope to Knutsford Heritage Centre.
