THE cast are 'absolutely buzzing' about performing tonight at the first of two sell-out shows in Wilmslow.
Wear Pearls and Smile is an evening of new writing, consisting of five short plays, produced by new Manchester-based theatre company, Silver Pine Productions.
Each play is about 15 minutes long, and touch upon gender roles and what straight-jackets they can be.
The plays are being performed tonight and Thursday at The Old Dancer in Grove Street.
"I’m so excited that our first production opens tonight at The Old Dancer," said Anna Girolami from the company.
"We’ve sold out both nights completely, and the cast and crew are absolutely buzzing.
"I don’t know whether to cross my fingers or break a couple of legs that everything goes smoothly!
"If you’ve got a ticket, hang on to it and don’t lose it! It promises to be a fantastic show.
