THE grand draw of the Lions Centenary Raffle, following on from the group’s centenary celebrations held on The Heath on May 29, took place last week at Knutsford Heritage Centre.
The draw, made by Knutsford Heritage Centre trustee Wendy Moleas, saw 27 prizes won after more than 2000 £1 tickets were sold.
The Knutsford Lions marked 100 years of fellow organisations across the world by moving their annual King Street fair to The Heath, drawing in huge crowds who enjoyed traditional games, stalls and competitions.
By popular demand, the Lions’ centenary exhibition at the heritage centre has been extended until June 30.
