Two suffer smoke inhalation after chimney fire in Over Peover
TWO people suffered smoke inhalation following a chimney blaze at a house in Over Peover on Thursday.
Just before 4.30pm on Thursday, January 26, Knutsford fire crews were called to reports of a fire at a house in Stocks Lane.
On arrival the firefighters found that the ground floor was heavily smoke logged and two people had suffered smoke inhalation.
Paramedics were called and arrived shortly after to tend to the victims, one male and one female, and neither were taken to hospital.
The smoke came from a chimney which was on fire and the crew used specialist equipment to extinguish the flames.
