Roads remain closed after leaking gas tank in Cranage
Emergency services have closed roads at the junction of the A50 and Byley Lane and the B5081 and Moss Lane after a tank leak in Cranage.
Firecrews were called to the scene on Moss Lane at 5pm yesterday.
A tractor crashed into the tank causing it to leak propane gas and cordons were set up to allow the tank to vent.
Residents have been advised to stay inside and to keep windows and doors closed.
Crews remain at the scene as repair work is underway.
