A KNUTSFORD schoolgirl has made her big acting break in the latest Final Fantasy blockbuster, starring alongside iconic British stars.

Bo Bragason, 12, from Mere, plays the role of ‘young Luna’ in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, which also stars British actors Sean Bean and Lena Headey.

Bo, who is currently in Year Eight at Knutsford Academy, was selected after she sent off a taped audition of herself demonstrating a range of acting skills.

Once Bo was cast, she Electric Works in Sheffield where she was filmed using the latest 3D technology.

“It was so exciting,” she said. “It was amazing all the technology. All of my joints were covered in dots. Every crease on my face was, and I had to wear a really big helmet a bit like a hockey helmet.”

Electric Works has also filmed 3D and 4D technology for Disney’s Jungle Book and The Hobbit.

Following the 3D filming Bo travelled to Ealing Studios to film her scenes.

“They made loads of animated robots,” she added. “I had to pretend that people were dying all around me. I imagined it as a totally different scene.

“It’s owned by a Japanese company so they had to have a translator. It was being directed live in Tokyo by Skype.

“My favourite part was probably the premier in London. That was amazing. When we got there it was packed with fans and cast members and photographers.

“People were asking to take picture of me.”

Lizzie, Bo’s mum, added: “Lots of people have been waiting for this to be released. They knew all about Bo and her part. It was a real eye-opener.”

Bo, who attends Actor Tribe, a Knutsford-based acting group, is hoping to continue her career onscreen and has already bagged a role in a BBC drama ‘Three Girls’ which will be released next year.

Starring alongside Maxine Peake and Lesley Sharpe, Bo will play the supporting role of the sister to one of the young girls abused in Rochdale.

The series is set to be released in Spring 2017.
