BUSES from Knutsford to Wilmslow and Macclesfield have not yet been reinstated after the operator went into administration.
GHA Coaches announced on Wednesday that it would cease to run its services, which included buses from Knutsford to Northwich, Wilmslow, Macclesfield and Altrincham.
The routes affected include the Connect 88 services between Wilmslow and Knutsford, Mobberley and Altrincham and the 200 service between Wilmslow and the Airport viewing park, via Styal.
Cheshire East Council announced on Thursday, July 14, that the 289 Northwich to Altrincham service, which travels via Knutsford has been taken over by Howards and is therefore reinstated.
In a statement, the council said: " It is possible, however, that some journeys may be missed. We will continue to work on the other routes to ensure as much of the bus network as possible is running."
