POLICE arrested a 19-year-old Winsford man at the weekend after discovering a bag believed to contain cannabis and a knife.
The discovery was made after the man was stopped by a police officer in Nixon Drive, Winsford, just after 3pm on Saturday.
He was searched, as a result of which the officer found a small bag believed to contain cannabis and a knife with a five-inch blade.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis and an offensive weapon, and has been bailed pending further police inquiries.
