Man who died after collapsing at coffee shop is named
A CYCLIST who died after taking ill at a Poynton coffee shop has been named.
The man was Stephen Hardacre, 53, from Hazel Grove who had He had gone for a bike ride before collapsing in Costa Coffee on Park Lane..
Paramedics had attempted CPR at the scene and treatment continued in an ambulance but he sadly later died at Stepping Hill Hospital.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: “We received reports of a man passed out at the Costa Coffee shop on Saturday at 8.26am.
“A rapid response Vehicle was at the scene at 8.35am and CPR was attempted before an ambulance attended and the man was taken to Stepping Hill.”
Cheshire Police confirm there are no suspicious circumstances
