ITALIAN enthusiasts across Knutsford will now have the chance to learn the language at their own pace in a four-week series of social speaking classes.

Fluent speaker, Kieron Loynton, will launch his four-week ‘Italianglo’ language course at Corks Out on King Street on Wednesday September 16, and no English speaking will be allowed.

Italianglo follows the philosophy that the best way to learn a new language is by making it fun, social, and in a relaxing environment without the pressures of a typical classroom.

Kieron said: "Diving into speaking Italian straight away really is the best way for an absolute beginner to immerse themselves in a new language as well as an immediate refresher for people who may have learned some Italian in the past but are a little rusty.

"Corks Out offers an ideal relaxing environment - and lessons will be accompanied by a glass of Prosecco."

The two hour session will start with basic tuition and followed by a conversation hour when pupils can practice what they've learned.

Italy has always been Kieron's passion and he moved to Milan in the 1990s where he trained and qualified as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher and worked for the International Berlitz school.

Kieron gave individual and group lessons to a wide range of pupils, many were employees, managers and directors of the nationally owned petroleum, gas and chemical companies located in the region.

"Whilst living in Italy I immersed myself in the culture and language of the country, travelling across the whole of Italy," said Kieron.

"I also studied Italian during the five years that I lived there which gave me a strong command and fluency in Italian which I have maintained ever since - any opportunity to speak this beautiful language, well, I take it!"

Lessons are available on an individual or group basis and are designed to cater for business and/or leisure learning.
